Neat news today. Loren Baker created a video sharing site (IMBroadcast), much like YouTube for Internet marketers. The cool thing about IMBroadcast is that it is meant specifically for the Internet marketing community (or those who would like to learn more) so the channels will be related to SEO/SEM topics. From their About page:
What can I do with IMBroadcast.com?
- Share video tutorials
- Ask the community Internet Marketing questions via webcam, and receive responses
- Share news on search engines and social networks
- Share video from conferences and meetups
- Network with the Internet Marketing community
I’m a personal fan of the second one. How cool is that?!
As is the norm, you can also imbed video on your own site, like so. Wait, you can’t. The embed code is coming up partial for me. I’ve only looked through Firefox, but I don’t think that should be a factor.
There are a few bugs in the system (like that one, and the friend requests contain verbiage that you would send to someone not already a member of the community), but believe me, they are so minor, and will probably be rectified before you read this, that they don’t even come close to keeping any smart SEO from wanting to take part.
Oh, and in true Internet marketing fashion, here’s my IMBroadcast profile. Go ahead and send me that goofy friend request.
