    Немного о сайте:  

    1. Ресурс “Артники Бойцовского Клуба” носит исключительно информационный характер.

    2. Апдейт базы происходит примерно раз в сутки. Если персонаж днем сменил склонность, то информация о нем обновится не моментально, а в течение некоторого времени. 3. Добавление новых артников (по скринам) пока что происходит примерно раз в неделю. 4. Возможностей комментировать статьи не будет. Для срача есть форумы БК и клановые новостные ленты.

    5. Помимо базы артников и новостей о них, наполняется библиотека. Новые разделы в ней появлятся не так быстро, как хотелось бы, но мы стараемся подавать информацию как можно подробнее. А на это уходит достаточно много времени… Таблицы опыта и подобные разделы будут добавлены в последнюю очередь. Они и так есть на всех сайтах.

    This is something you see in SEO a lot. Admittedly, we can all be somewhat egotistical. I think SEO might just be the field that attracts these types of people. Not necessarily a bad thing, just seems to happen that way (No really; if you ever talk to me, I’m come off as extremely cocky. Not so much online, but it’s there, I promise).

    This comes up most prominently when someone in the SEO world says or does something that’s obviously nothing more than a ploy to get attention or an attempt at attaining fame. Then, someone places a Sphinn comment that says:

    “This is such BS, they just want attention, and it’s dumb on their part” (though we are usually a bit more relevant than that, but you get the point).

    But then there’s a third statement. The person that attacks the commenter with the:

    “Well, by commenting/blogging/posting in response, you are just feeding into. You’re part of the problem.”

    I don’t quite get this. If I’m to understand the thought process behind the third person, by stating that something is a bit shady or underhanded for attention, then said exposer is part of the problem? I don’t agree with this at all.

    It’s like the guy in the movie running away from the government spies trying to kill him. Everyone thinks he’s just paranoid. But he’s right.

    Just because you are paranoid, doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.

    So, to the person that started this in my little brain, don’t let that ever stop you from saying something. We don’t always have to agree, but we do have to respect your opinion. And if you don’t respect her opinion, well, you’re just feeding into her need for attention and you are part of the problem. (How awesome am I that I can turn it around like that?)

    Just a rant, I guess.

  • What Is RSS? – SEO Factor

    RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Instead of boring you with the gritty details (belive me, there are plenty of other places to get all that), let me give you the simple explanation.

    RSS allows for others to grab your syndication, or ‘feed,’ so as to keep up with a blog or news site without needing to remember to go to the site specifically. The feed itself is really kinda useless without a feed reader though.

    Feed Reader
    In order to make use of an RSS feed, you need a feed reader. A reader will allow you to keep track of multiple feeds from one location, allowing you to see what’s going on with your favorite sites all the time. Personally, I make use of Netvibes, but you can also make use of iGoogle or any other number of RSS Readers.

    How To
    Once you have decided on a reader, you are ready to start grabbing feeds. Believe it or not, pretty much every site that you already visit likely has a feed. You can normally tell by the standard RSS Button:

    If you click on my RSS Button, you see the following page:

    To the right, you can see a list of common reader that you may use to grab my feed. If your feed isn’t listed, you can also copy and past the URL from your browser’s navigation bar into a reader of your choice.

    Once that’s done, you can look at your reader to see a list of post titles for my blog, click on the desired post title, and continue reading the best SEO blog ever. Now, susbscribe to my feed.
