    I always like it when Google gives a little guidance in a process. Especially one so critical as moving a site from one domain to another. The larger the site, the more of a pain the whole ordeal can be. Today, the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog gives us some best practices for moving a website.

    Mike Blumenthal noted on his blog, that Steve Espinosa noted on his blog (makes you wonder what we bloggers do all day, doesn’t it) that Google Maps is now allowing for the upload of videos.

  • Chapter 2 – Optimizing New Websites

    Ok. Now we know what SEO is, but where do we start? Well, before we get into it, there are 2 different cases in which one would be optimizing a website. The first is with a brand new site. The next is with that of a website that has been up for some time. With the next few pages, we will discuss a new site’s process, and after that, the process for an aged site. In any event, we will be starting with keyword research. Though the process may vary, we need to know what terms we are going to target.
